Bulkamid® is a unique, new, non-particulate bulking agent that is a homogeneous hydrogel consisting of 97% water and 2.5% polyacrylamide gel. It is a non-particulate bulking agent in its own class and is resistant to degradation and maintains its size and volume in the body’s tissue once injected and is durable over time. It is a predictable, controllable and precise injection that is minimally invasive, performed in the office setting and the patient has minimal if any downtime.

Bulkamid® was FDA approved January 28, 2020, for the treatment stress urinary incontinence, intrinsic deficiency and or stress incontinence predominant mixed incontinence. The ability to offer a less invasive and overall, less expensive procedure since it can be performed in the office setting, has been wonderful for our patients.
