I had vaginoplasty surgery, from the very beginning they were very professional and very kind, they went out of their way to make me feel at ease, they checked on me after the procedure, it was almost as if they were family. I am a patient at Southern Urogynecology. And the reason that I am there is because of my wonderful N.P. and I consider her my friend Wendy Walker, she is amazing. She helped me yrs ago with my hormone therapy and continues to do so. She is great at explaining things, she takes her time with me, my visits do not seem rushed and I see how busy she is so she spends the same amt of time with her pts and they don't feel rushed and that is so important. Any request that I make via my chart or phone is taken care of in a timely matter.

I haven't had a bad experience yet at this facility. The staff that I've come in contact with are all great and better yet, they are all females! I love that! I feel like they understand better what's going on in my body because they can relate. Dr. Pezzella listened to my concerns and is very knowledgeable of all the different things that can help us girls feel normal at any age. And if she doesn't provide the service, there are other providers there that can help too! I had a scheduled procedure and Danielle communicated very well, kept me on track, and answered all my questions. They follow up with you too and make sure you're alright. Patti and Mackenzie are great as well! I also like how they explain the procedures, the costs, and what to expect afterwards. This helped me make an informed decision and feel like I was in control. Dr. Pezzella even helped with some concerns that my PCP doesn't seem to have time for. So thank you Southern Urogynecology :)
